According to The Hollywood Reporter, Andy Fickman is set to direct two comedy features set up at two studios. Fickman will go behind the cameras for Don't Send Help at 20th Century Fox. Penned by Jeffrey Ventimilia and Joshua Sternin, the story centers on a low-rent entertainer who has no luck with the ladies but who suddenly finds himself stranded with beauty pageant contestants. David Friendly will produce.

Fickman also has signed on to develop and direct Daddy's Little Girl for Walt Disney Pictures. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is attached to star. The story, written by Nichole Millard and Kathryn Price, centers on an NFL quarterback living the bachelor lifestyle who discovers that he has a 7-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray will produce.
