Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina Jolie are teaming up to star in a new project that Angelina Jolie wrote herself. The untitled movie doesn't have distribution lined up at the moment, but with two of the biggest stars in Hollywood sharing the screen again, it seems likely that several studios will be vying for this coveted on-screen reunion.

No plot details have been released, with the story still in the very early stages. Nothing solidified just yet. It will mark the first time that the husband and wife have starred in the same movie since director Doug Liman's 2005's Mr. and Mrs. Smith, which earned $478.2 million worldwide that summer.

Angelina Jolie will next be seen as the title character in Disney's Maleficent, opening in theaters May 30. She is currently in post-production on her second directorial effort, Unbroken, which stars Jack O'Connell, Domhnall Gleeson, Garrett Hedlund and Jai Courtney. The drama is slated for release on Christmas Day.

Brad Pitt is coming off co-starring and producing the Best Picture winner 12 Years a Slave, which he will follow up with the World War II tank movie Fury, debuting in theaters November 14.
