In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Don Murphy and Susan Montford's Angryfilms has picked up an option on Lauren McLaughlin's young-adult book series Cycler.

The series centers on Jill, she is a suburban teen who for four days each month becomes a boy named Jack. He is equipped the with the male anatomy and 17-year-old-boy fantasies. Things get really interesting for Jill "when Jack, tired of being locked in his room, begins to escape, causing damage to her social life."

Random House for Young Readers put out the book last year and then followed it with a sequel, "Re-Cycler." More titles with this character are on the way. McLaughlin has already has turned her book into a screenplay.

Angryfilms is presently looking for a director and financing for this project.
