Blue Dream Studios announced today that its new animated movie Animal Crackers will feature a voice cast including Sylvester Stallone, Ian McKellen, Danny DeVito, Patrick Warburton, Gilbert Gottfried, Raven-Symoné, Harvey Fierstein, James Arnold Taylor, Tara Strong and Lydia Taylor.

Tony Bancroft and Scott Christian Sava will direct from a script co-written by Sava and Dean Lorey. The story centers on a family whose lives are turned upside down when they inherit a circus along with a mysterious box of Animal Crackers. They soon realize that the person is changed into whatever animal they eat, including monkeys, giraffes, lions, tigers and bears.

Here's what Blue Dream Studios' Scott Christian Sava had to say about the project in a statement.

"When I was writing Animal Crackers I had specific voices in my head. Certain characters I wrote with actors in mind. Horatio was always Sir Ian McKellen. Brock was totally Patrick Warburton. Bullet-Man could be no one else but Stallone! To find out that each and every one of these actors have agreed to come on board this film and bring these characters to life ... I'm flipping out."

Production is already under way, which is expected to be completed by the summer of 2016. It isn't known when Blue Dream Studios is eyeing to release this animated project. Take a look at the first poster below, and chime in with your thoughts about this Animal Crackers cast.
