Fox is currently developing three new animated programs for next season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, they will all revolve around different dysfunctional families.

The first of these projects is an animated reworking of the short-lived 2003 live-action sitcom The Pitts. The second project is Jack Black's Relative Insanity, and the third is Mothballs from the team that brought you Comedy Central's Drawn Together.

Two episodes of The Pitts has been ordered. Fox is currently casting the leads with a plan to do a table read. If all goes well, the show will go straight to series.

Mike Scully stated, "It will be a new show to America, because so few people saw it outside of our immediate family. It's a show we've always been very fond of."
