Nights in Rodanthe: According to The Hollywood Reporter, scribe Ann Peacock has signed on to adapt Nicholas Sparks' "Nights in Rodanthe" for Warner Bros. Pictures and studio-based Di Novi Pictures.

"Rodanthe" tells of a doctor's life-altering romance that begins when he stops at an inn on his way to see his estranged son. Sparks also is the author of such romance novels as "Message in a Bottle," "A Walk to Remember" and "The Notebook," all of which have served as the basis for screen adaptations.
