Cavity Colors has just announced their new line of killer merch, and this time the company is taking on director John McPhail's zombie-musical Christmas-comedy flick Anna and the Apocalypse. Their exclusive capsule collection includes Tees, Baseball Raglans, and Lapel Pins featuring the artwork of such talented peeps as Nacho Scratcho and Devon Whitehead. For those of you that still might not know, Anna and the Apocalypse is a zombie musical comedy that begins when a zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven - at Christmas - forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other.

Directed by McPhail from a screenplay written by Alan McDonald and Ryan McHenry, based on the short film Zombie Musical which was directed by McHenry, Anna and the Apocalypse is produced by Naysun Alae-Carew, Nicholas Crum, and Tracy Jarvis. It stars Ella Hunt, Malcolm Cumming, Marli Siu, Sarah Swire, Christopher Leveaux, and Ben Wiggins, and premiered this past September at Fantastic Fest. Then, hallelujah, back on November 30, the movie finally sang, danced, and bashed zombie brains all the way into theaters and digital here in the United States and the United Kingdom.

And if the words "Zombie Musical Christmas Comedy" wasn't enough to get you into line at your local multiplex, then maybe you should hear about all the solid word-of-mouth surrounding the film the past few months. The motion picture currently holds a middle of the road (but still fresh) score of 79% over on Rotten Tomatoes with the Critics Consensus reading: "Anna and the Apocalypse find fresh brains and a lot of heart in the crowded zombie genre - not to mention a fun genre mashup populated by rootable characters." And on top of that, the movie has been nominated for multiple awards this past year including Best Independent Film at the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards, the Audience Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and the British Academy Scotland Awards nominated the film for both Best Actress for Ella Hunt and Best Feature Film. Impressive, huh?

For those of you that have already seen the film and loved it, you can always own the killer soundtrack as well. The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was released on Black Friday (November 23) via Orion Pictures and Interscope Records. Each song is a delight and the soundtrack features all 13, including ditties such as "Christmas Means Nothing Without You", "Hollywood Ending", "The Fish Wrap", "Give them a Show", and "I Will Believe by Ella Hunt."
