Anna Faris has joined the cast of the new comedy Mama's Boy for Warner Independent Pictures, also starring Jon Heder, Diane Keaton, and Jeff Daniels.

The film, directed by Tim Hamilton, is about a 30's something slacker (Heder) who lives at home with his mom (Keaton). The Hollywood Reporter adds when Keaton falls for a motivational speaker (Jeff Daniels), Heder's way of life is threatened; Faris plays Heder's love interest, a singer-songwriter.

Hank Nelken (Saving Silverman) has written the script; look for a late 2006 release for Mama's Boy.
