Anna Faris has signed on to the farcical sci-fi comedy, Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel for Picturehouse, BBC Films and HBO Films.

British comics Chris O'Dowd, Marc Wootan and Dean Lennox Kelly are already set for the film directed by Gareth Carrivick. The Hollywood Reporter notes the script follows three social outcasts - two geeks and a cynic - as they attempt to navigate a time-travel conundrum in the middle of a British pub; Faris plays a girl from the future who sets the adventure in motion.

Shooting is due to start next week in the U.K. for Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel.

The Scary Movie actress will also star in an untitled comedy about a centerfold for Happy Madison and Paramount Pictures. The film is based on her idea and is being written by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten "Kiwi" Smith.
