Lauren St. John's children's book The White Giraffe is being adapted for theater screens. According to Variety, Bridge to Terabithia's AnnaSophia Robb is set to star in the film.

The novel revolves around a young British orphan who has to go and live with her grandfather on a wildlife reserve. While there, she sets out to find the truth behind the mythical white giraffe.

Ann Peacock will be writing the screenplay. Gabor Csupo, director of Bridge to Terabithia, will be behind the lens for this one as well.

There is no official word on a start date.
