Reportedly, Anne Heche had been seen driving erratically shortly before the devastating accident. She had gotten into another minor car accident at an apartment complex shortly before and is said to have sped away when concerned residents tried to offer assistance. Video footage that has gone viral also appears to show Heche speeding in her car in the moments leading up to the crash.

Many of Heche's fans and friends have been sending prayers and well wishes to her at this time. Meanwhile, a GoFundMe page has also been launched for the woman whose home was destroyed by the fiery accident. While she had escaped physical harm along with her pets, she had lost all of her possessions due to the fire damage. As of this writing, more than $84,000 in donations has been raised with a current target of $100,000.

"Lynne lives with her beautiful pups Bree and Rueban, and tortoise Marley in the Mar Vista home that was destroyed this week by a car driving into the home at a high rate of speed, catching the house on fire," the fundraiser states. "Lynne and her family very narrowly escaped physical harm, and for that we are very, very grateful. The home, however, was completely burned - with 59 firefighters taking 65 minutes to extinguish the flames - and immediately red-tagged by the LAFD, necessitating that Lynne leave the place she loves."

The description adds, "Even more distressing is that Lynne lost her entire lifetime of possessions, mementos, all equipment for her business including her laptop and iPad, all of her clothing and basic necessities, and all household items. With firefighters' help, she was able to pull a few damaged sentimental belongings from the wreckage. Everything else is gone."
