Loki star Jonathan Majors is all set to become the “biggest, baddest MCU villain” audiences have ever seen in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. According to the actor himself. Appearing alongside his Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania co-stars via Fandango, Majors has offered some insight into where the MCU sequel will find the malevolent Kang the Conqueror, who has become a man isolated.

"Well, they come down to the Quantum Realm, the Quantum Realm is my current domain. It's where I am. And as the title says, I've conquered it. So, he's a man isolated. Just there. Working it out."

Trapped in the Quantum Realm following the unleashing of the multiverse, Kang is expected to take over from Thanos as the next Marvel big bad. Which is something that Majors is more than ready for, with the actor explaining how he will continue the legacy and craft a layered, near- sympathetic bad guy.

"Here's the thing with villains, right? Or, with any character. But, particularly with villains. Yes, there is the manifestation of power. But, the internal power is really the drive. You know? And I think with Kang, something I found so interesting was that his pain and suffering and discomfort and frustration with society and the world is so great in him that [those qualities] have allowed him to make himself into the supervillain that you see.”

Much hype is being thrown Kang’s way, with the villain set to battle The Avengers in 2025’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. And it certainly sounds like the superhero team will have a fight on their hands.

"It is that internal friction that gives him that power. Now, how it manifests? Stay tuned! Yeah, his heartache is great and so massive that he does live up to that title of being the biggest, baddest MCU villain that we've had."
