Now that Avengers: Age of Ultron has hit theaters, Marvel is getting ready to close out Phase Two with their upcoming adventure Ant-Man. Today the studio has released a new TV spot, where Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) casually name-drops The Avengers in a conversation with Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), along with three new posters that have tie-ins to Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The posters were released on the official Twitter pages for Captain America, Thor and Iron Man, which show the tiny hero standing tall on Cap's shield, Thor's hammer Mjolnir and the shoulder of Tony Stark's Iron Man suit.
The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios' Ant-Man. Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
The TV spot also includes new footage of Darren Cross, a.k.a. Yellowjacket, attacking Ant-Man, along with a hilarious scene involving a miniature train set. We also see more of Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne and more displays of Ant-Man's superhuman power. Check out the TV spot and posters below, before director Peyton Reed's superhero adventure hits theaters July 17.
