Did you know that acclaimed director Darren Aronofsky has his own Twitter account? He used it this morning to announce to the world that Oscar-winning actor Anthony Hopkins has joined his upcoming biblical thriller Noah.

Anthony Hopkins is set to play Methuselah, the world's oldest living man, who dies seven days before the great flood that Noah survives with his ark full of animals. Russell Crowe headlines a cast that also includes Saoirse Ronan, Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman, Ray Winstone, and Emma Watson.
