Now that Mackie is progressing into a new era of MCU as the leading man of Avengers, fans are wondering how his future will shape up in the vast cinematic universe. In the brief statement, Mackie quickly informed everyone that he isn’t in the new Black Panther movie; however, he seemed startled at the question at first. His involvement in the film won’t entirely be a surprise.

In The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, it’s revealed that the new suit he dons is actually a favor from the Wakandans, and in the new threat the nation faces, it might call him to return the favor by fighting on their side. Moreover, given the cultural ideologies Black Panther (2018) dived in and the racial bias concerns that TFATWS raised, the new Captain America, may add to inclusivity in the film. He may or may not be in the film, as he claims; however, watching him appear in this movie will be a treat for fans.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will release on November 11, 2022, as the 30th film of the franchise, and will star Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, and Dominic Thorne. Thorne will later reprise her role as Riri Williams/Ironheart in her solo Disney+ original, tying up the film to her series. The film’s plot is under strict secrecy as it underwent severe changes after the sad demise of actor Chadwick Boseman, with Marvel deciding not to recast his role for the sequel. The film is also said to introduce Namor in the MCU, but the news isn’t concretely confirmed yet.
