It seems one of the hottest spec scripts in town might have found a director. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Antoine Fuqua is in negotiations to direct Prisoners.

Fuqua would be directing from the white-hot script from scribe Aaron Guzikowski, which had attracted interest earlier this year from directors such as Bryan Singer.

It was said the film would be put on the fast track to production, with shooting to start in January or February. Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg were previously attached to the film, but it wasn't clear if they would still be involved at this point or not.
