Anton Yelchin, Robert Downey Jr., Hope Davis, Kat Dennings and Tyler Hilton have signed on to star in the dark comedy, Charlie Bartlett for Sidney Kimmel Entertainment.

The film is a coming-of-age story where Yelchin (Alpha Dog) plays a wealthy teen who goes to a new public high school and ingratiates himself into its social fabric by using his charm to become the school's resident psychiatrist; Downey plays the school principal, says Variety.

Charlie Bartlett will mark the directorial debut of Jon Poll in the Gustin Nash-written film. Shooting begins this month; no release date has been set.
