It seems that a popular Spanish actor and Spanish director are finally reuniting after more than two decades. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Antonio Banderas will star in director Pedro Almodóvar's new film, The Skin I Live in.

The film will be based off the novel "Tarantula" by Thierry Jonquet, which centers on a plastic surgeon, which Banderas will portray, who seeks vengeance for the rape of his daughter. Almodovar revealed that he had not wanted to announce the project yet, but Banderas couldn't hold his tongue any longer, revealing his involvement during an interview at the St. Petersburg Film Festival.

It was said that the film will start production this summer with a 10-week shoot in Spain and other undisclosed locations. The film will reunite Banderas and Almodovar 20 years after their last film, Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!.
