GK Films' The Young Victoria, which stars Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend, has been picked up by Bob Berney and Bill Pohlad's Apparition distribution company. According to Variety, this historical romance will be released in the states on November 13th of this year.

The film will follow the rise of Britain's longest-reigning monarch and her courtship with soulmate and husband, Prince Albert. Directed by Jean-Marc Vallee and written by Julian Fellowes, The Young Victoria also stars Paul Bettany, Miranda Richardson, Jim Broadbent, Thomas Kretschmann and Mark Strong.

About the upcoming stateside release, Berney stated, "I think it's very audience friendly and commercial." The film will be released on close to thirty screens on November 13th, with it rolling into at least one hundred theaters by the end of the month.
