Best TV Series Coming to Paramount+ in September 2022

In the short time that AppleTV+ first joined the wonderful world of streaming services, they have released a number of Emmy-nominated and -winning shows, propelling their ranks up there with powerhouses like Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu. Similar to these streaming services, AppleTV+ boasts new content monthly, including original movies and TV series. Their September 2022 lineup continues that trend.

While their September 2022 list is smaller than previous months, the three new TV series coming to AppleTV+ all offer completely different content. Life By Ella drops first and is a family-friendly series about a middle-schooler. During the second week of the month, the other two new series drop, which includes the third season of the hit musical animated series Central Park and the new documentary series Gutsy hosted by Hillary and Chelsea Clinton. Here's a more detailed look at the best TV series coming to AppleTV+ in September 2022.

Life By Ella is a family-friendly new TV series that follows 13-year-old Ella as she takes on a new outlook in a life, which is determined to break her spirit. This feel-good series shows the young Ella's determination in trying to make the best of her situation and how to take each day as it comes. She is a strong-willed cancer survivor who is ready to take on her next task: middle school.

Life By Ella stars Lily Brooks O'Briant whom you may recognize as Mandy from The Big Show Show. Mary Faber, best known for Parks and Recreation, stars as her mother, and Kevin Rahm, from Mad Men, plays her father. Not much is known about the show in terms of release schedule, other than that the first episode will drop on September 2.

Central Park (Season 3 Premiere) – September 9

One of AppleTV+'s more popular shows, Central Park is returning on September 9, 2022, for its third season. The Emmy-nominated series has received multiple nominations for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for stars Stanley Tucci and Tituss Burgess, who play two of the main cast. The show is often compared to Bob's Burgers but with musical numbers! The first two seasons were well-loved by fans, making the upcoming third season an automatic hit.

Central Park follows the Tillerman family who lives, as you can guess, in Central Park, New York City. The family has to deal with each other and the socialite who wants to buy the park and turn it into condos and restaurants. The show breaks the fourth wall by having Birdie, voiced by Josh Gad, narrate. Other cast mates include Daveed Diggs, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., and Kristen Bell, to name a few. The first three episodes will air on September 9, and will then, per Slash Film, transition to a new episode a week following that.

Gutsy is AppleTV+'s documentary series, which will also debut on September 9, 2022. Hillary and Chelsea Clinton act as the series' hosts as they travel around interviewing bold and brave women. These women range from household names to unsung heroes. The Clinton duo also had a hand in producing the show, which, per Apple, is based on their novel The Book of Gutsy Women. While not much is available about the new documentary series, the women credited on the show's page on IMDb include Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Amy Schumer, Kim Kardashian, Wanda Sykes, Megan Thee Stallion, Gloria Steinem, Jane Goodall, and more.
