Based on a true story, Black Bird revolves around Jimmy Keene (Taron Egerton) who, after being imprisoned, gets an offer from the authorities. Law enforcement promises Keene that if he can get a confession from suspected serial killer Larry Hall (Paul Walter Hauser), he will be freed from prison. Black Bird was based on the 2010 autobiographical novel In with the Devil: a Fallen Hero, a Serial Killer and a Dangerous Bargain. The miniseries premiered on July 8, and the conclusion of the show is set to be released in August 5, 2022.

Five Days at Memorial is a chronicle of the impact and aftermath of Hurricane Katrina on a local hospital. When the Hurricane hits and disaster strikes at the hospital, knocking out the power, the doctors and nurses at the hospital must make impossible decisions for the patients as floodwaters rise and the heat climbs. This eight-episode series is set to have a dynamite cast including Cornelius Smith Jr., Molly E. Hager, Adepero Oduye, and even Vera Farmiga. The first episode of Five Days at Memorial is set to premiere on August 12, 2022.

Following the lives of young Jade and Sam, Surfside Girls is a perfect summer show for young girls to follow. Based on the graphic novel Surfside Girls: The Secret of Danger Point, the show follows the girls as they spend their summer on the beach, catching waves and enjoying the sun until they meet a ghost. The girls take it upon themselves to uncover the mystery of the ghost, which leads them to a pirate ship and some cursed treasure. The show brings some fresh young faces to the screen, with YaYa Gosselin and Miya Cech starring in the lead roles. Surfside Girls is set to premiere on AppleTV+ on August 19, 2022.
