According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ari Folman (Waltz with Bashir) has picked up the rights to The Futurological Congress.
Based on Stanislaw Lem's short story, Folman want's to make the piece a "live-action/animated hybrid."
The film is set in a time when everything seems great in the world, everyone has all the money and things they want, but things are not as the seem.
"Think of your favorite young actress. She'll appear that way at the beginning, and then as the film goes on, she'll be drawn like she's 50," Folman stated.
