Earlier this week, Sony accidentally released a digital version of the in-theaters film Armored, making the Nimrod Antal-directed film available as a free digital download for about five hours at the PlayStation Store, according to Afterdawn.

Once Sony caught wind, they removed the Armored download, but the film resurfaced later on some viral sites. Since this is a pretty ridiculous oversight on behald of Sony, is it safe to assume this to be a marketing stunt to try to contend with box office favorite Avatar? Hmmm.
