The CW's Arrow and The Flash will be taking a small break next week during the Thanksgiving holiday, but when they return in December, both shows will come together for an epic crossover event. The CW Network has released a new trailer for The Flash portion of this two-night event, Legends of Today, which reunites Oliver (Stephen Amell) and his team with Barry (Grant Gustin) in Central City. This trailer features John Barrowman as the new Ra's al Ghul, who warns these heroes that they're going up against Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).

This footage also features two of the DC's Legends of Tomorrow stars who will be featured in the crossover, Falk Hentschel's Carter Hall a.k.a. Hawkman and Ciara Renee's Kendra Saunders, a.k.a. Hawkgirl. Kendra thinks it's "insane" that these strangers are willing to risk their lives to protect them, but Carter thinks that's exactly why they're heroes. In an earlier episode of The Flash, which gave us our first true introduction to Kendra, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) tried to ask her out on a date, but got shot down. In this trailer, Cisco watches this barista transform into Hawkgirl before his very eyes.

The Flash episode Legends of Today centers on Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump), who arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renee). After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco (Carlos Valdes), they turn to Barry (Grant Gustin) for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver (Stephen Amell) and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings, AKA Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel), shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison (Tom Cavanagh) develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out.

The Arrow half of the crossover, Legends of Yesterday, follows Oliver and Barry as they take Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage while they figure out how to defeat him. Malcolm (John Barrowman) arranges a meeting between Vandal, Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn't go as planned. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Thea (Willa Holland), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage.

Last week, we showed you a new photo from the crossover where both Hawkman and Hawkgirl were in chains. This trailer shows us that Hawkman has been completely wrapped in chains, as he tries to warn Barry that he can't stop the immortal Vandal Savage. In addition, we also have another trailer for the crossover, which includes footage from a fan screening and Q&A session with stars from both Arrow and The Flash. Take a look at these new videos, and stay tuned for more on the Arrow and The Flash crossover airing Tuesday, December 1 and Wednesday December 2 on The CW.
