The CW's Arrow has added yet another villain from the DC comic books, bringing on Vinnie Jones to play Danny Brickwell, a.k.a. Brick. The actor is no stranger to the comic book universe, playing the nefarious Juggernaut on the big screen in 20th Century Fox's X-Men: The Last Stand.

In the comic books, Brick has thick skin that cannot be penetrated by any kind of weapon. Brick will be a vicious Starling City gang leader in Season 3 of Arrow who targets the local government. He was given the name "Brick" because he has been shot dozens of times but never put down. The actor will have a three-episode arc that spans the 10th, 11th and 12th episodes this season. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg frequently used Brick while he was writing the Green Arrow comic books for DC in the late 2000s.

This will be the character's first live-action appearance, although he has been featured on the animated series Young Justice, and in a DC Nation animated short.

Vinnie Jones joins a growing cast of DC Comics characters who are appearing on the show this season, including Matthew Nable as the season's main villain, Ra's al Ghul, Nick Tarabay as Captain Boomerang, Amy Gumenick as Cupid, Brandon Routh as Atom, Peter Stormare as Vertigo, J.R. Ramirez as Wildcat, David Cubitt as Manhunter, Matt Ward as Komodo, Rila Fukushima as Katana and Karl Yune as Maseo Yamashiro.
