In case you haven't seen Arrow's Season 3 midseason finale, "The Climb" just yet, there will be a massive SPOILER below, so read on at your own risk. With just a few days left until the hit series Arrow returns with the midseason premiere "Left Behind", The CW has released a new extended trailer and a behind-the-scenes featurette, both of which will address the shocking turn of events at the end of "The Climb". In addition, executive producer Marc Guggenheim teases even more details in a new featurette, hinting that it may be quite awhile before we see Oliver Queen again.

"Left Behind" is set in the aftermath of Oliver's fight with Ra's al Ghul, as Diggle and Arsenal continue to protect the city in the Arrow's absence. However, after three days without hearing from Oliver, they begin to fear the worst may have happened to their friend. Felicity refuses to believe that Oliver could be dead until Merlyn pays the team a surprise visit. Thea suspects there is something more behind Oliver's disappearance and asks Merlyn for a favor. Meanwhile, Ray tests a part of his new suit and Laurel takes up the mantle of the Black Canary.

In the featurette, Marc Guggenheim also reveals that the midseason premiere introduces a new villain, Danny "Brick" Brickwell (Vinnie Jones), with an unprecedented three-part trilogy featuring this new enemy, which has never been done on the show before. He also adds that fans who check Stephen Amell's Facebook will have noticed that he hasn't been filming for some time, although he doesn't say when Oliver may finally rise from the dead. Take a look at the trailer and featurette before Arrow returns with "Left Behind" on Wednesday, January 21 at 8 PM ET on The CW.
