In just a few short weeks, the Arrowverse will return to The CW in full force with a week chocked full of mid-season premieres, and today we have a brand new trailer to celebrate the return of these beloved DC Heroes. Unlike the previous trailer from last week, which showed all of these heroes struggling in their own ways, this is a much lighter trailer, showcasing the humorous side of the Arrowverse. The trailer features all of these iconic DC series, which kicks off with the return of Supergirl on Monday, January 15, followed by The Flash on Tuesday, January 16 and Arrow on Thursday, January 18. While some of the Legends of Tomorrow are featured in this video, fans won't be seeing them on the small screen until next month.

Following the holiday break, Supergirl and DC's Legends of Tomorrow will rotate through The CW's Monday 8pm time period, offering fans 23 consecutive weeks of original episodes. Supergirl will return from its midseason break Monday, January 15 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) for a four week run of original episodes. Starting on Monday, February 12, DC's Legends of Tomorrow will move into the 8pm time period for 9 weeks until its third season finale on April 9. After Legends completes its run, Supergirl is back with brand new episodes starting Monday, April 16 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) until its season finale on June 18.

The new trailer doesn't feature any actual footage from any of these shows, and is more in the same vein as the popular "Superhero Fight Club" videos that became viral hits a few years ago. The trailer also offers a not-so-subtle nod to all of their Arrowverse fans who are all returning to their own respective jobs this week after the long holiday break, with Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stating that, "getting back to work is hard work." It's clear that just the act of "suiting up" is quite time consuming, with the video ending with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) finally arriving, asking Arrow (Stephen Amell) if he meant they needed to suit up right now. Arrow clearly isn't too happy with Barry, stating that they've all been suiting up for the past 20 minutes, but it takes both Barry and Supergirl a matter of milliseconds to get suited up.

The Supergirl premiere follows Kara as she finds herself unable to fully heal from her injuries inflicted by the villainous Reign (Odette Annable), with Kara finding herself in a dreamlike state from which she cannot escape. This leads Mon-El (Chris Wood) to enlist the help of Legion of Superheroes member Brainiac-5 (guest star Jesse Rath), to try to bring her back, as the DEO teams up with the Legion of Superheroes to try to stop Reign's destructive ways. The Flash mid-season premiere follows Barry Allen's trial starting for the murder Clifford DeVoe, as Team Flash tries to determine what lengths they'll take to keep Barry out of prison. The Arrow premiere follows a splintered Team Arrow, with Oliver, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (David Ramsey) trying to stop Cayden James and Black Siren on their own.

While not present in this video, The CW's superhero premiere week will also feature the Black Lightning premiere, airing Tuesday, January 16 at 9 PM ET, following The Flash mid-season premiere. It hasn't been confirmed at this time if this show will be connected to the existing Arrowverse, but it's possible that it may be a stand alone show. The series was originally being developed by Arrowverse producer Greg Berlanti at Fox before it eventually shifted to The CW, where it was given a series order.
