Confessions of a Superhero has been picked up by Arts Alliance America and Netflix's Red Envelope. According to Variety, the documentary was produced by Half Nelson's Jamie Patricof.
The film will get a small theatrical release in New York on November 2nd. It will then be released on DVD sometime in January. The film, directed by Matt Ogens, follows the lives of the actors who play the superheroes on Hollywood Boulevard. The central cast of characters includes Batman, Superman, the Hulk, and Wonder Woman.
This street phenomenon was first featured in a Wall Street Journal article. The film will have its premier at AFI in October.
