Bug may not be coming out in the U.S. until May 25 but it's DVD fate is already being taken care of.

In a story from Variety, Ascot Elite Home Entertainment snapped up the "DVD rights to William Friedkin's psychological thriller Bug ahead of the upcoming Cannes Film Festival market."

The company now owns the German, Swiss and Austrian DVD rights which were purchased from Lionsgate. Ascot Elite hopes to release Bug "in the second half of the year."
