How bloody is Ash Vs. Evil Dead going to be? Late last month, star Bruce Campbell , who is reprising his role as Ash Williams, shared a photo on his personal Twitter account that showed off his /ash-vs-evil-dead-set-photo-bruce-campbell/Evil Dead portable blood kit. Now, he's teasing off his blood-splattered eyeball in response to the legendary William Shatner, who asks 'How is everyone?' Bruce Campbell's reply:

"Frankly, Bill...I'm a little sticky."

This isn't the only thing we've seen recently to get us overly-excited for Ash's return in Ash Vs. Evil Dead! Just last week we got an /ash-vs-evil-dead-trailer/Ash Vs Evil Dead trailer that teased the return of everyone's favorite chainsaw-handed Deadite slayer, with alternative versions that included some iconic Ash-isms, such as 'Groovy!' and 'I'm back, baby!' This latest photo is actually our first look at Bruce Campbell, as the trailers, which we've included here, keep him shrouded in shadows.

Ash Vs. Evil Dead is currently in production in New Zealand and is set to premiere on Starz Fall 2015. Bruce Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons -personal and literal.  Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its "Evil" grip.

The cast also features Lucy Lawless as Ruby a mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks, Ray Santiago as Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash's loyal sidekick, Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly Maxwell, a moody wild child trying to outrun her past and Jill Marie Jones as Amanda Fisher, a disgraced Michigan State Trooper set to find our anti-hero Ash and prove his responsibility in the grisly murder of her partner. Sam Raimi is directing the first episode of Ash Vs. Evil Dead that he wrote with Ivan Raimi and Tom Spezialy. Sam Raimi will also serve as executive producer, with Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell along with Craig DiGregorio who will serve as executive producer/showrunner. Ivan Raimi will co-executive produce and Aaron Lam and Chloe Smith will serve as producers.
