Twilight star Ashley Greene has joined the growing cast of CBGB for director Randall Miller.

The actress will play Lisa Kristal, the daughter of Alan Rickman's Hilly Kristal, who owned the famous CBGB punk music club in New York. Lisa frequently clashes with her father in the script, but eventually becomes the business manager of the venue until it closed in 2008.

Malin Akerman co-stars as Blondie singer Debbie Harry. Rupert Grint, Kerry Bishé, Evan Alex Cole, Johnny Galecki, Taylor Hawkins, Stana Katic, and Joel Moore round out the cast.

Randall Miller is directing from a script he co-wrote with Jody Savin. Production is scheduled to begin later this month in Savannah, Georgia, before shooting moves to New York City.
