Ashton Kutcher is in talks with Five Star Institute's Mark Hulme to star as Steve Jobs in the independent biopic Jobs, which will follow the life of the former Apple CEO.

This indie film will track Steve Jobs from a wayward hippie to being the co-founder of Apple, where he rose to become one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of our time.

The actor is a natural choice for the studio due to the resemblance the actor has to the late Apple co-founder in his youth. Joshua Michael Stern will direct the film from a Matt Whiteley script.

The actor is best known for his roles in Two and a Half Men and That '70s Show.

Production for the film begins this May. This project is not to be confused with Steve Jobs, the movie based on Walter Isaacson's critically acclaimed biography.
