With Avengers: Age of Ultron hitting theaters in just a few short months, the main cast members have all assembled on the cover of Empire Magazine's latest issue, including Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). Empire has also released a limited edition collector's cover that gives us a closer look at Ultron (James Spader). Director Joss Whedon also revealed that he is currently working on a number of Ultron scenes in post-production, joking that he has taken the villain's side, for the moment.
"I've been working on a lot of Ultron scenes, so I'm very anti-Avengers right now. You can't write someone if you don't love them and I've come to the conclusion that Ultron is right. The Avengers need to die."
When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance.
