UPDATE: 4:30 PM PST A Disney representative has reached out to us stating that the AMC promotion is not happening, and the theater chain have since taken down the posters on their Facebook page.
Original Story: Last week, AMC Theatres announced they will be holding the Ultimate Marvel Movie Marathon, a 27-hour event where fans can watch all 11 MCU movies at once, starting on April 29. For those who don't have that kind of time, the theater chain is also hosting a double-feature of both Marvel's The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron on April 30, and the studio announced on their Facebook page that fans who attend this double-feature will get to take home one of three limited edition posters, which you can check out below.
Both the Regal Cinemas and Cinemark theater chains are also hosting these Avengers double features, but it isn't known if they will be giving away their own limited edition posters as well. Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
Visit AMCTheatres.com to purchase your tickets for the Avengers double-feature on April 30, and take a look at these posters below.
