With just 25 days left until Infinity War hits theaters, one reason many fans are looking forward to this is because the full title for Avengers 4 will likely be revealed. According to the Russos, the delay should "terrify" fans. It has long been confirmed that the actual title of Avengers 4 will be a huge spoiler for Avengers: Infinity War, with some speculating that the title will be revealed after the post-credit sequences in Avengers: Infinity War, since Marvel traditionally has a title card at the very end of their films that says "The Avengers will return" and the title of the next movie. One fan stated over the weekend that, "the fact that the russo brothers won't give us the avengers 4 title because it spoils infinity war scares the sh*t outta me," with the Russos responding, "It should."

There has been no shortage of rumors as to what this title may be, although the Russo Brothers also hinted in January that the title reveal may be further off than we think. The filmmakers hinted that they are going to "sit on that until we feel the time is right and when people have absorbed the first movie enough." This means that the title reveal may happen much further down the line than anticipated, and may not come directly at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. While it remains to be seen exactly when the full title will be revealed, they filmmakers may wait until the first trailer is released to do so.

One possibility is that the title won't be revealed until the first trailer is ready for public consumption, which may happen this summer at Comic-Con 2018. While there is no indication yet as to whether or not an Avengers 4 trailer reveal will happen at SDCC 2018, Marvel has used their Hall H presentation for huge reveals before. Then again, Marvel has also skipped the convention entirely in the past, and there is no confirmation that they'll even have a presence there, especially since their third and final movie of the year, Ant-Man and the Wasp, will be released before SDCC on July 6.

There will likely be no plot details for Avengers 4 released until after Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27 either, and even if there is an official synopsis reveal, it likely won't be too extensive. There has been talk that the first five minutes alone are devastating, with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige hinting that there may be some iconic heroes that are killed off right away, although no deaths have been confirmed quite yet. Still, with Infinity War and Avengers 4 serving as a "culmination" of the MCU up until this point, it is widely expected that several of the original Avengers will be killed off, especially since many of the actors' contracts are up after Avengers 4.

Anthony and Joe Russo direct both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 from scripts by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who all previously worked together on Captain America: Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. Hopefully we'll have some updates on the future of the MCU as the stars and filmmakers start making the press rounds for Infinity War. Until then, take a look at this tweet from Russo Brothers Twitter.
