Marvel's Infinity War isn't even out in theaters yet and fans are already wondering about the official title for Avengers 4. In a new interview, the Russo Brothers revealed some information about when we can expect to get said title, and it looks like it may be a while. The directing duo previously announced that the title will scare certain Marvel fans, which is certainly intriguing to say the least. That being said, Infinity War has yet to even be screened in full, so fans are just going to have to wait a little while longer to learn the title of Avengers 4.

While the Russo Brothers are excited to share the official title of Avengers 4 with hardcore Marvel fans, they just can't do it at the moment because it contains spoilers for Infinity War. When asked when we can expect to get the title the Russo Brothers tried to be positive about their answer, but also realistic. The exchange went like this. Joe simply said, "Not for quite some time", while Anthony reiterated, "We're excited to tell people." Joe Russo got the last word in and said, "It's gonna be a while."

Ok, so it's going to be a while before we learn the true title of Avengers 4, but that was to be expected, right? There's still a slight chance that the Russo Brothers could be pulling a fast one and the title will be released at the end of Infinity War, but that seems pretty unrealistic. Since the title for Avengers 4 is said to have Infinity War spoilers, it will more than likely be after most fans have seen the third installment, which means it could be a while, as Joe Russo says.

However, with Infinity War just around the corner, it will be fun to speculate about what the title of Avengers 4 will end being. There have been some theories already trying to get to the bottom of the mystery, using set photos as well as other clues to try and put it together. One popular fan theory states that Avengers 4 could be titled Avengers Forever, based off of the comic series of the same name, which includes Avengers of all eras fighting a major threat through the use of time travel.

The Avengers Forever theory could hold some weight, since we've seen some of the old costumes on the set of Avengers 4 have heavily hinted at some time travel. Captain America's bright blue suit, Thor with his long, healthy mane of hair and two eyeballs, fighting alongside present-day Avengers. It's a stretch, but a fun one at the same time.
