Following a report from January, South Korean actress Soo Hyun Kim has been confirmed to appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The actress' role has not been revealed, but an unidentified Marvel official said in a statement that the character's identity is a huge spoiler.

"It would be a spoiler, so we can't tell you which character Soo Hyun Kim will play. Marvel always prohibits telling too much about the story. Her character is already decided and the scene is already written so we cast Soo Hyun Kim, but we can't let you know about her character. We only can say that her character is a substantial supporting role."

Who do you think this South Korean actress is playing? Our report from January revealed she is playing an unspecified villain. Production is scheduled to begin soon in Incheon City, South Korea. The actress also released a statement on her Twitter page yesterday regarding the casting, along with the following photo.

"After a long wait, I'm happy to be back with great news. I have a lot to do ahead of me, but for now, the words 'Welcome to the Marvel Universe' are amazing and kind of overwhelming. I was a fan of Marvel Comics, and if you really like something, looks like fate can make it happen."

In related news, Elizabeth Olsen briefly spoke about production starting soon, while talking about her character Scarlet Witch's powers.

"She has mind-control powers and she's one of the most bad-ass characters. It's really cool."

And finally, we reported earlier this week that Scarlett Johansson is pregnant, with Marvel accelerating her production schedule to accomodate the pregnancy. Latino Review's El Mayimbe teased that Black Widow is dating an unspecified character in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
