The latest Avengers: Endgame concept art provides us with our best look at Baby Thanos yet. Baby Yoda isn't the only baby making the rounds these days. While The Mandalorian is melting hearts with Baby Yoda, Baby Thanos looks like he wants to melt half of the universe. The Mad Titan was the star of 2018's Infinity War, which was different from a lot of superhero movies. Marvel Cinematic Universe fans were given an almost sympathetic look at the villain and some even chose to take his side.

The new image of Baby Thanos comes to us from concept artist Ian Joyner. The artist has done a lot of work for Marvel Studios over the years and it all has his unique touch. Baby Thanos is no exception and one has to wonder why the Russo Brothers didn't use him in the movie. However, it may have to do with how many characters there were in Avengers: Endgame. Joyner had this to say about the concept art.

"Just saw that this became a meme and I feel I have really accomplished something with my life. Watch out baby Yoda, here comes Baby Thanos! Did a few passes on what our favorite purple space maniac would look like as a wee Bebe. Although this scene did not make the final cut of the film it was a total blast to work on it. The Art of Avengers: Endgame is out now, full of concepts both used and unused from the film! As always a total honor to be a small part of it."

Thanos was a force to be reckoned with in both Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. While the last installment would have been a good place to see Baby Thanos, it probably would have made more sense in Infinity War, which is where the Russo Brothers initially wanted to tell more of the Mad Titan's backstory. They later realized that there was just too much going on to add in more backstory.

Baby Thanos is sure to start taking over the meme world, but it will be interesting to see if he is able to compare with the popularity of Baby Yoda. The Star Wars franchise is one of the largest on the planet, but the MCU has been winning the box office wars lately and will more than likely continue to do so. With that being said, Baby Yoda has seen some pretty intense exposure in a very short amount of time.

Now fans may start to wonder about who would win in a fight. Baby Thanos might have the upper hand, but we've already seen Baby Yoda use the Force in The Mandalorian and it looks like he is pretty strong for a 50 year-old, though he gets tired pretty quickly. We'll never see the two fight, but it is something fun to think about for sure. You can check out the Baby Thanos image below, thanks to Ian Joyner's Instagram account.
