Recently, we let you guys know that the rumor of an Avengers: Endgame rerelease with new footage was true. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that the blockbuster is heading back to the big screen for a theatrical 'bring back event' that includes never-before-seen footage this weekend. Details were scarce in that original post, but today Marvel has announced all the juicy details regarding this new version of the mega-blockbuster.

Tckets are now on sale for this fresh cut of the blockbuster sequel. As far as the details of the new version go, this Endgame rerelease will feature an intro from director Anthony Russo, an unfinished deleted scene, and a sneak peek at director Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Far From Home starring Tom Holland. Here is the official press release from Marvel.

"See the year's number one movie on the big screen one more time before it leaves theaters! Starting on Friday, June 28, participating theaters nationwide will hold a Bring Back event for fans to see Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame one more time on the big screen before it finishes its theatrical run.

Fans who buy a movie ticket will receive an exclusive piece of Avengers art (available in select theaters and until supplies run out) and will also be treated to a video introduction by director Anthony Russo and an unfinished deleted scene from the film, and it will be a chance for fans to get a head start on the upcoming Marvel Studios' "Spider-Man: Far From Home" via a special sneak peek! Tickets to the Bring Back event are available wherever tickets are sold."

These extras seem to line right up to what MCU producer Kevin Feige said earlier. Mainly, the uber-producer clarified that this would not be an extended edition, but a version with a bit of a marketing push and "a few new things at the end of the movie" including "a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises." On top of today's update, there was a very recent rumor that the rerelease would include a Hulk post-credits scene and a Stan Lee tribute.

No word on whether or not this above-mentioned "unfinished deleted scene" and this teased Hulk post-credits scene are one and the same. I guess you'll just have to go see the movie again in theaters to find out! People who go see this new version of Avengers: Endgame will also walk away with a pretty killer exclusive poster (at select theaters while supplies last).

For that one guy out there that isn't aware, this massive Marvel movie stars some actors you may have heard of such as Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. Don Cheadle joins them as War Machine along with Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, and Josh Brolin as the mad Titan, Thanos.

Avengers: Endgame was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely based on The Avengers created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. As is the case with every Marvel movie in the MCU, Avengers: Endgame is produced by Kevin Feige. This new cut of Avengers: Endgame will be landing in a theater near you this weekend. As of today, you can buy your tickets over on Fandango. Meanwhile, this update comes to us from Marvel Entertainment over on Twitter.
