According to Google, Hugh Jackman is in Avengers: Endgame. This is far from official, but it is pretty interesting to see a Google search of the actor's name bring up the official poster for Endgame. Marvel fans have been waiting to see Jackman's Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for over a decade now, but the actor has retired from the role and has publicly said that he will not be returning to reprise his role in the MCU.

As of this writing, you can still search for "famous Hugh Jackman movies" and the Avengers: Endgame poster shows up in a line of other movies that the actor has appeared in over the years, including Wolverine, Les Misérables, X-Men, and The Greatest Showman. Does this mean that the actor is really making a secret cameo in one of 2019's most anticipated movies? Probably not. Google also recently revealed that Josh Brolin stars as Arthur Curry in Aquaman, which obviously isn't true, though the actor got a kick out of trolling DCEU fans anyway.

Seeing Hugh Jackman's name associated with Avengers: Endgame is more than likely a glitch, but hardcore MCU fans are hoping that it ends up being true. Disney is currently in the process of taking over Fox's Marvel properties, which includes the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Deadpool franchises. Out of all of the characters, including the Merc with a Mouth, fans overwhelmingly want to see Jackman back as Wolverine in the MCU, even though the actor keeps shooting down all rumors that pop up. With that being said, Jackman will probably address the Google incident in the near future.

Ryan Reynolds has also tried to get Hugh Jackman back as the iconic character for the Deadpool franchise. If Jackman were to suit back up, it would probably be with Reynolds for some comedy, but even that looks like a sliver of a chance. But, there is an even smaller chance that Jackman suited up for a brief cameo in Avengers: Endgame a few months ago during the reshoots that took place in Atlanta. He was not spotted on the set, but stranger things have happened. If it does end up being true, even if it's the smallest cameo of all time, Marvel fans will lose their minds.

Hugh Jackman has said in the past that he always wanted to see Wolverine in an MCU project with Iron Man and Hulk, but said that he figured it would never happen. However, when he started to see headlines about the Disney and Fox merger, he had a glimmer of hope about joining up with the MCU, only to say, "I think, unfortunately, the ship has sailed for me." The actor went on to say that he would like to see someone else play Wolverine. The Jackman and Avengers: Endgame news was first reported by Fandom Wire.
