Karen Gillan says that Nebula is going to deal with her father and their issues in Avengers: Endgame. Nebula is the daughter of Thanos and things look like they're about to get pretty complicated for the character. For Thanos, he has had no problem torturing Nebula throughout her whole life, but he did shed a tear after throwing his other daughter, Gamora, off of a cliff. The Mad Titan isn't going to be winning any father of the year awards anytime soon, that's for sure. While Gillan can't say much, she did talk a little about Avengers: Endgame.

Earlier this year, when asked about Avengers: Endgame, Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen declared that the movie was going to be a lot darker than Infinity War, which is pretty surprising. Karen Gillan was recently asked about the highly anticipated movie and talked about her character's relationship with her father. Thanos killed her sister and wiped out half of all life in the galaxy, so there might be some pretty dark and emotional scenes for Nebula. Gillan explains.

"What can I say? Thanos is her dad and she is definitely going to confront some serious daddy issues. That's for sure."

Karen Gillan recently revealed that Nebula was going to have a new friend in Avengers: Endgame, which looks like it will be Tony Stark. In the recently released trailer, we see that Nebula and Stark are floating through space on the Benatar as they run out of food and water. This has led to speculation that Stark won't make it out of the movie alive, but surely he and Nebula will be rescued at some point during the movie. We can't just have Iron Man floating in space throughout the duration of Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame has a lot to answer for after the events of Infinity War. We know that some or all of the dusted heroes will return, but it isn't clear how at this time, though many believe that time travel and the Quantum Realm will be the key to reversing Thanos' snap. That being said, there's no way that the Russo Brothers along with screenwriters Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus are going to let Infinity War be solved that easily. There will be hiccups and there will likely be great sacrifice when the movie hits theaters next year.

As for Nebula, she does have a personal score to settle with Thanos. Will she be the one to finally bring the Mad Titan down? Out of all of the characters in Avengers: Endgame, it would probably be best if Nebula was the one to bring down her dad, who tortured her and killed her sister. Maybe Gamora makes it back from the dead and helps Nebula. At this point, there's no telling where the Russo Brothers decided to take the story for the sequel. For now, we'll just have to be patient and wait for details to be revealed. You can read the rest of the interview with Karen Gillan over at People Magazine.
