The Russo Brothers originally brought the cast and crew of Avengers: Endgame together for a wedding scene. But, as we all know now, it was really for Tony Stark's funeral. For some of the actors, they actually believed they were there that day for a celebratory wedding, not a dark funeral scene. Marvel Studios and the Russo Brothers went above and beyond to make sure nothing about the movie leaked out ahead of its release date last month, which included handing out some more fake scripts for a few of the actors. Now, a behind-the-scenes picture from the funeral has found its way online.

Karen Gillan took some time out of her day this weekend to celebrate Avengers: Endgame on social media. She posted a massive photo of the cast and crew at Tony Stark's funeral with everybody there except for Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr. The Russo Brothers are there, the surviving members of the Avengers, the surviving members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and many, many more. It's another impressive photo showcasing how much hard work and scheduling went into making the movie.

Karen Gillan also shared another picture of herself on set in full Nebula makeup eating Chinese food with some of her castmates. While it's not explained, it looks like one of Robert Downey Jr.'s now famous luncheons with almost all of Earth' Mightiest Heroes except for Mark Ruffalo. The lunch photo and funeral photo both feature Gillan in the Nebula makeup, which is a stark contrast to the other actors on the set who don't have to endure the makeup chair for hours every day. Some of her Guardians castmates like Dave Bautista and Pom Klementieff are also in full makeup.

Avengers: Endgame marks the end of an era and Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are wondering what comes next. There are the Disney+ streaming platform shows on the way featuring Loki, WandaVision, and Falcon & Winter Soldier. Plus, the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home will be the official end of the MCU's Phase 3, which should give some clues as to what we can expect in Phase 4. Scarlett Johansson will be back as Natasha Romanoff in the Black Widow standalone movie, which is set to go into production soon.

As for Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, it looks like they are probably done with the MCU, at least for the time being. There is a chance they will make some cameos down the line, but it is way too early to even begin thinking about that right now. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige will give us a better idea of what's on the horizon this summer at San Diego Comic-Con and D23, but even then, we're not exactly sure how far he is going to go after the MCU's triumphant past few years of box office sensations.
