The Avengers: Endgame IMAX trailer has been released and it helps to solve some of the minor mysteries of the original version. The MAX version contains the same footage from the original trailer, but with higher quality and it features extended framing on the top and bottom of the screen. Since there's some extra quality and a better view, the new version of the trailer helped possibly prove and disprove some Marvel Cinematic Universe fan theories that have been floating around since the release of the original trailer a few weeks ago.

For those who may be scoffing at the differences between this new IMAX trailer and the original, a new video puts them side by side, showing off how much extra frame space the latest version shows. Obviously, it's not going to spoil anything or reveal anything Earth shattering, but it's an awesome second look for hardcore MCU fans who have been dissecting every frame of the original trailer. It's pretty crazy how much extra the IMAX version of the trailer is able to show, even on a computer or phone.

Upon the release of the Avengers: Endgame trailer, some fans thought that the closeup image of Nebula's hand could have possibly been on Steve Roger's shoulder as a misdirect from the Russo Brothers. However, the new IMAX version of the trailer clearly shows that Nebula is comforting Tony Stark on the Benatar, which is what it seemed like to most fans anyway. That being said, the Russo Brothers have been known to purposefully put in scenes that throw fans off for one reason or another. This just isn't one of those times.

Another fan Avengers: Endgame theory about a possible time jump was also brought up because of Black Widow's different hairstyles in the trailer. We see the Infinity War hair style when the character is with Steve Rogers and then what appears to be longer hair when meeting up with Ronin. The IMAX trailer proves that Black Widow's hair is longer, which could very well point to a time jump in the movie. Time travel and the Quantum Realm are expected to play large roles in the highly anticipated sequel, but we're not exactly sure how everything is going to play out when the movie hits theaters next year.

The Avengers: Endgame IMAX trailer is really only for hardcore MCU fans who have been studying each and every frame, looking for clues that the Russo Brothers may have hidden in plain sight. As is the case with nearly all trailers, even the IMAX version offers more questions than answers, which is either good or bad, depending on what type of fan you are. Thankfully, the wait is nearly over and we'll all find out soon enough.
