While fans still have to wait a few more weeks before Infinity War hits theaters, the press tour is already under way, where the stars and filmmakers are screening the first 30 minutes all around the world. But not the full movie yet. Stars such as Tom Hiddleston, Tom Holland and Benedict Cumberbatch recently revealed that they haven't seen the entire thing, having to wait until the world premiere in Los Angeles on April 23. Paul Bettany added another interesting detail in a recent interview, revealing that the cast was given fake scripts with bogus twists on set. Here's what he had to say below.

"The secrecy around this film extended, this time, to the cast. I mean, really, it was crazy. We read scripts that were fake scripts and then they had fake twists and scenes that never were shot and you'd talk to the director and they'd say 'all of that stuff at the end? Not happening.'"

The actor also revealed in the interview, which took place before the London screening, that he was looking forward to seeing the whole movie, and that he was "thrilled" to just see the first half hour with fans. He also added that he was just coming out of a meeting with a producer when he was told his career was over, when he got the call from Joss Whedon to be in the Avengers sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron as Vision, after voicing J.A.R.V.I.S. in the Iron Man movies. He refused to offer any details regarding Vision's potential clash with Thanos, but his statement about fake scripts actually mirrors statements previously made by Tom Holland, who had this to say in a previous interview.

"When I read the script, there were fake scenes in it. I got the directors on the phone and they walked me through what were the fake scenes. They'd had three leaks already, so they'd written a script with lots of fake scenes. There were three Hero iPads that had the only real scripts on them."

The secrecy of Avengers: Infinity War is certainly not surprising, given the hype surrounding the movie. It's interesting to see that the premiere is happening just four days before the April 27 release date, mirroring how the Star Wars movies have their premieres just days before their release date. Fans are also looking forward to this release to see if Marvel will also release the title for Avengers 4, perhaps during the credits of Avengers: Infinity War, since it has since been confirmed that the Avengers 4 title is a huge spoiler for Avengers: Infinity War.

Anthony and Joe Russo direct Avengers: Infinity War, from a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. It remains unclear if Markus and McFeely also wrote the "fake scripts" that Bettany spoke about in his interview with Hey U Guys, or if any of these fake twists or other details from these "scripts" will be released after the release of Avengers: Infinity War. Regardless, we'll find out what happens in Avengers: Infinity War when it hits theaters April 27.
