Infinity War is without a doubt the most anticipated movie of the year, even with Black Panther becoming the phenomenon that it is. Infinity War does, after all, feature T'Challa as a main character. Who's not in the movie, though? Tobey Maguire. As Spider-Man. That all changes with the latest Weird Trailer, which completely warps the Marvel universe.

The Weird Trailer series comes from Youtube raconteur Aldo Jones, who has previously gone all insane on Civil War, Justice League, Thor: Ragnarok, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and our favorite, Eddie and the Beast, which reimagines Beauty and the Beast with Eddie Murphy standing in place for the Beast. It's really something special.

Today, we get to see what Infinity War looks like through Aldo Jones' fractured mind. The teaser culls together all the footage from the previously released trailer and Super Bowl TV spot, along with some of the other footage that has landed here and there. And it mashes it all together in one big menudo stew.

Tobey Maguire makes a very aggressive appearance as Spider-Man, which may delight some fans who wish his version had made it into the real Infinity War instead of Tom Holland. But this version of Spidey is a little hard to root for. There are a ton of weird sight gags and other cameos sprinkled throughout, though its really best if you discover them on your own. It's quite the spectacle to behold.

And it should tide over fans hungry for more Infinity War. We should be getting a second full-length trailer soon. But in the meantime, we can enjoy this wacky and wonderful take on what could become the highest grossing movie of all time, if Black Panther doesn't get in the way of that happening first.

In the authentic version of the movie, Thanos is the main bad guy. But here, he's presented as a goofy doofus, with Tobey Maguire proving to be the real menace. Obviously he's pretty scared over losing his role as Peter Parker, and now he must take it out on the entire team of Marvel superheroes, which clocks in at over 67 main characters. That's a lot to say the least.

Watching the newest Weird Trailer, you'll want to keep an eye out for a Matt Damon cameo from The Martian. And a Cremulon from Rick and Morty shows up, along with a later appearance from the two animated fan-favorites as they go toe-to-toe with Kim Jong-Un. Yeah, what did you expect? It's f'ing weird. What's even weirder is that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 featured a sequence that almost looked like a Weird Trailer, as Rocket Raccoon and Michael Rooker's Yondu shot across the galaxy with their eyeballs bulging out. Was it a weird homage to this craziness? You'd have to ask James Gunn. So, what's really going on here? We have not a clue. But it sure is fun. And we have no one but Aldo Jones to either thank or hate for that.
