It seems that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were the talk of both TV and DVD last week. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Baby Mama took the top spots in the national DVD sales and DVD rental charts, for the week ending September 14 - which was one day after their much-ballyhooed opening skit on the Saturday Night Live, which featured Fey impersonating Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Baby Mama also topped the DVD rental charts for the week, and was followed closely behind in both sales and rentals by fellow newcomer Forbidden Kingdom, which took second place in both sales and rentals.

The top 5 in sales were rounded out by three other newcomers as well, with the straight-to-DVD Barbie and the Diamond Castle finishing in third place, with two TV sets, Grey's Anatomy: The Complete Fourth Season and Smallville: The Complete Seventh Season finishing in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

Forbidden Kingdom did score a first-place win on the high-def side, taking the Blu-Ray sales crown, bumping last week's top BD seller, Transformers, down a notch to second place.
