Following the latest trailer for the highly anticipated Barbie movie, the first song from the soundtrack has also now been unveiled. Titled Dance the Night, the song comes courtesy of singer and songwriter sensation Dua Lipa, with the Grammy Award winner also set to play a Mermaid Barbie in the movie. Check out the video for Dance the Night below courtesy of Dua Lipa's official YouTube channel...

Bringing all the Barbie vibrancy that you could possibly want to the music video, Dance the Night is just one of several tracks by major artists set to appear on the official Barbie soundtrack. Barbie: The Album will feature the likes of Ava Max, Charli XCX, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, Dominic Fike, Fifty Fifty, Gayle, Haim, Ice Spice, Kali, Karol G, Khalid, PinkPantheress, Tame Impala, The Kid LAROI, and even Ryan Gosling, who will perform an original song for the movie as Ken.

The latest look at the Barbie movie gives us a much better idea of what to expect from the project and the plot. It seems that Barbie will drop audiences into the brightly colored, overwhelmingly cheerful and optimistic world of Barbieland. Centering on Margot Robbie’s Barbie, things go awry when she suddenly has an existential crisis. After becoming discontented with the world of the Barbies and Kens, Robbie’s Barbie decides to set off into the real world, with Ryan Gosling’s Ken in tow, in search of true happiness.
