This has been a big week for the Batmobile on the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. /batman-superman-dawn-justice-batmobile-photos/First, the redesigned vehicle was spotted in a series of set images coming out of Detroit that offered a full look at Batman's new ride. /batman-v-superman-batmobile-photo/Then, director Zack Snyder released an official image of the big black machine, which comes complete with gun turrets. Now, we get our first look at the Batmobile in action, as Instagram user Brasherj managed to capture the action sequence in question on camera. Check it out:

Director Zack Snyder moved into night shoots this week, which wrap tonight, Friday, September 12. Shooting has been taking place near the Russell Industrial Center in Detroit. On Wednesday, September 10, nearby residents were advised to keep all of their windows shut, for safety reasons, since pyrotechnic explosions were being deployed.

These scenes have involved a seaside chase with a number of stunts, including Batman standing atop a 40-foot crane.
