Warner Bros.' massive Hall H panel just let out, where fans were treated to a brand new extended trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is chocked full of new footage. The trailer's opening moments show Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) watching one of his own Wayne Enterprises buildings crumble, which we're lead to believe is due to Superman's destructive battle in 2013's Man of Steel. During the panel, director Zack Snyder explained that they changed things up from the comics, putting both Gotham City and Metropolis next to each other, geographically.

"The big rule we broke is we put Gotham and Metropolis next to each other. They're sister cities like Oakland and San Francisco."

The trailer opened with an introduction to Holly Hunter's character, whose name wasn't given, but it's revealed that she is a Senator, who wants to know the truth about Superman, and what he stands for. We also see footage of Batman holding up a newspaper where the headline reads "Wayne Tower Devastated" with large handwriting over the paper that says "You let your family die!" This seemingly hints that Bruce Wayne had some loved ones in that tower before it was destroyed, and his reaction at the beginning of the trailer seems to indicate so as well.

Unfortunately, the trailer doesn't show any footage of these superheroes clashing, but there are plenty of new details in this epic footage, including Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and much more. In case you missed it, check out the trailer below, and stay tuned for more details from the Hall H panel. Are you more excited for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice now?
