Last week, Fox aired a new preview for the fall finale of Fox's Gotham, Worse Than a Crime, airing tonight, Monday, November 30 at 8 PM ET, which revealed that the episode will also include a sneak preview of Warner Bros.' highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In case you missed tonight's episode, we have the full preview to check out below, featuring plenty of new footage from director Zack Snyder's highly-anticipated superhero adventure, arriving in theaters March 25, 2016. This preview offers a new look at comic book icons Batman (Ben Affleck), as he's being unmasked by Superman (Henry Cavill).

The footage opens with Batman chained up along with a few other unidentified characters, when Superman arrives, causing several armed soldiers to kneel before him. We briefly saw this shot of soldiers kneeling in the previously-released trailers, but this is the first time we see that the Man of Steel has actually captured The Dark Knight himself, before removing his iconic cowl. The end of this sneak peek also reveals that the full trailer will debut Wednesday, December 2 during ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, so be sure to check back in two short days for even more footage.

First announced at Comic Con 2013, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be the first big-screen adventure ever that brings both Batman and Superman together. We learned from director Zack Snyder at this year's Comic Con that Batman's Gotham and Superman's Metropolis are "twin cities" separated by a bay, similar to San Francisco and Oakland. It has also been confirmed that part of the destruction in 2013's Man of Steel spilled over into Gotham, destroying Wayne Tower, which helps set up the conflict between these two heroes.

The supporting cast for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice includes Man of Steel stars Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent) and Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), along with Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Holly Hunter in a role created specifically for this movie. Fans will also get their first look at Jason Momoa as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and it has been rumored that The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) may also have cameo appearances.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will kick of Warner Bros.' DC Comics Extended Universe (DCEU) on March 25, 2016. Just a few months later, the villains will take over with Suicide Squad (August 5, 2016), which will also feature an appearance by Ben Affleck as The Dark Knight. Those movies will be followed by Wonder Woman (June 23, 2017), Justice League Part 1 (November 17, 2017), The Flash (March 23, 2018), Aquaman (July 27, 2018), Shazam! (April 5, 2019), Justice League Part 2 (June 14, 2019), Cyborg (April 3, 2020) and Green Lantern Corps. (June 19, 2020).

Director Zack Snyder revealed last month that the third trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is "coming soon," but we don't know if the director was referring to the footage that aired on Gotham, or if there will be another trailer coming in the very near future. While we wait for more details regarding Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, take a look at the new footage below, which aired during tonight's episode of Gotham.
